Don and Jan Shilts have been lead pastors at Bible Center Church for 38 years. Their son, daughter and her husband serve with them in ministry. Their heart is to see the body of Christ living a dynamic, victorious life in the power of the Holy Spirit; helping the church grow up in love and in the character of Jesus. A primary focus is encouraging, strengthening and building the local church to reach their potential in Christ and their destiny in ministry.

We

Believe

The Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.

II Timothy 3:16

In salvation by grace through faith in the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8

In the Eternal God who has revealed Himself as one God existing in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible.

Matthew 28:19 | II Corinthians 13:14

In the deity of Jesus Christ, His incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, His ascension to glory and His promised second coming.

That every believer should be identified with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection through water baptism.

Matthew 3:13-17 | Mark 16:16

The church should be structured under the leadership of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons.

Ephesians 4:11

In the observance of Lord's Supper, commonly called communion.

I Corinthians 11:23-29

That the Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power, and in the operation of the gifts of the spirit.

John 15:26, 16:13 | Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4 | I Corinthians 12:7-11, 14:40

In the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust; the just to eternal life and the unjust to eternal judgment.

I Thessalonians 4:16-17 | I Corinthians 15:49 | Acts 24:15
